Klein Curaçao has the softest white sand and the clearest turquoise water you can imagine. It’s a snorkeler’s paradise. Seeing the colorful fish and perhaps a moray eel is quite an experience. Lily, my daughter, would have loved the underwater scooter; it sounds perfect for her age.

After a morning of underwater exploration, spending the afternoon relaxing on one of the island’s beautiful beaches is ideal. Options like Mambo Beach offer lively atmospheres with plenty of amenities, while Cas Abao Beach provides that postcard-perfect Caribbean escape. Blue Bay Beach is a bit quieter and known for its clear water and good snorkeling. My youngest, Ethan, would have loved playing in the calm waters of Jan Thiel Beach, which is also very family-friendly.
