We decided to split our stay to truly soak in different facets of Aruba. Our adventure began at the St. Regis, a place that redefines luxury. Its intimate beach felt like a private escape, a serene haven away from any bustle. The resort itself is beautifully designed, never feeling overwhelming despite its size. Everywhere you look, there’s an invitation to relax, whether by one of the many inviting pools or trying your luck at the lively casino.
The dining experiences at the St. Regis were magnificent. Each meal was a special occasion, a testament to the resort’s commitment to quality. But the absolute showstopper? Dinner at Akira Back as the sun went down.
Watching the sky blaze with color while savoring Chef Akira Back’s incredible creations was pure magic. It’s a memory etched forever in my mind. And our culinary explorations extended beyond the resort’s walls. Caya House and Lima Bistro were absolute gems, dishes that sang with flavor and settings that charmed us completely. They are culinary destinations in their own right.

Arikok National Park Adventure
Venturing into Arikok National Park was like stepping into another world, a dramatic contrast to the island’s famed beaches. This half-day trip was pure exhilaration, showcasing Aruba’s rugged, untamed beauty. The landscape here is raw and powerful, dotted with towering cacti and dramatic coastlines. It’s a place that makes you deeply appreciate nature’s artistry.
Our main quest in the park was the Conchi Natural Pool. Reaching it is an adventure in itself, navigating exciting terrain that rewards you with stunning vistas at every turn. And then, there it is – a hidden oasis of crystal-clear water, perfectly sheltered from the ocean’s might by ancient rock formations.
Floating in that serene pool, surrounded by such raw natural beauty, felt incredibly special. It’s an experience that connects you directly to the island’s wild spirit. Arikok National Park offers such a unique perspective on Aruba, a vital glimpse into its natural heritage. For anyone visiting, this excursion is an absolute must-do, a perfect balance of adventure and awe.
Tranquility at Baby Beach
Secrets Baby Beach Bliss
For the latter part of our trip, we moved to Secrets Baby Beach on the island’s quieter southern tip. This all-inclusive haven offered a completely different vibe – pure, unadulterated relaxation. The resort’s design is beautiful, blending seamlessly with the serene surroundings. Being an all-inclusive meant we could truly let go and simply enjoy every moment, embracing the slower pace of island life.
The proximity to Baby Beach itself was a dream. Just a short stroll away, this calm, shallow bay is a paradise for snorkelers, especially with little ones. The water is so clear, teeming with vibrant fish, making it incredibly easy to slip on a mask and fins anytime you wished. It felt like our own private aquarium.
We opted for the Preferred Club here, and while it offered lovely extras like an exclusive lounge and a secluded pool, the resort provides a fantastic experience for everyone. The enhanced amenities were a nice touch, offering a little extra pampering, but honestly, the core experience of this resort is simply wonderful.

It perfectly embodies the Caribbean dream, offering everything you could wish for: stunning beaches, exciting activities, incredible food, and the warmest people. We loved experiencing the glamorous side at St. Regis and then unwinding completely at Secrets Baby Beach.
Each day brought its own kind of magic. One moment we’d be marveling at the rugged landscape of Arikok, the next we’d be dining under a canopy of stars.
